What’s changing, what’s coming & what I need your opinion on!!

Hey guys!! It’s officially time for a little Austyn Ryli life + socials update because there are actually SO many little things changing behind the scenes right now!! Some are content changes, some are new ideas I’m testing, and some I definitely need your opinions on!!

So let’s get into it… 🎀

🎀 A LITTLE SOCIALS RESET

First up… I’m changing things up on Instagram!!

I really want my Instagram to become more fashion-focused and way more creative. Instead of just posting a quick fun reel because I have an outfit on, I want my content to feel more intentional — more styled, more editorial, more Austyn. If you’ve seen some of my latest videos, you’ve already gotten a little taste of what I mean!! I’m really loving the direction they’re going in, and I want to keep pushing that.

Basically… less “here’s an outfit!” and more “here’s a whole fashion moment.” ✨

And because of that, a few things are getting retired!

Weekend Wardrobe is moving from the blog over to Instagram as a reel series, which I think makes WAY more sense for it. I’m also turning my Featured Post on the home page into a ShopMy collection where I can keep all of my current favorite outfits in one place for you guys to shop + save!

And I’m officially discontinuing This Week’s Vibe and This Week’s Fit.

Over on the football page, I’m also discontinuing Game-Day Fit for now, as they are included in the Sideline Scoop, plus Popular This Week and the Notes on the homepage. It’s not that I don’t love these ideas — I just think it’s time to simplify everything and make room for content that feels more exciting!!

📺 YOUTUBE IS COMING BACKKK

I’ve been thinking about this one for a while, and I really want to start posting on YouTube more consistently again. I have SO many ideas for longer-form content, and I miss having a place where I can actually show more of the behind-the-scenes instead of squeezing everything into 15–30 seconds. Also… The Sideline Scoop is coming to YouTube Shorts!! 👀

So if you like the football updates on Instagram, you’ll now be able to catch little Sideline Scoop moments over there too.

TikTok is still… well… TikTok 😂

I’m definitely still posting, but we all know I go through phases with it. I’m going to try to be a little more consistent though, especially with fashion content!

💌 THE IG BROADCAST CHANNEL

If you haven’t joined my Instagram broadcast channel yet… THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!

I really want to use it more as my little direct line to you guys — updates, behind-the-scenes things, new posts, random thoughts, polls, content previews and all the little things that don’t necessarily need to become an entire post.

I’m also adding a “Join My Broadcast Channel” button to the website homepage so it’s easier to find!

Basically, consider it the Group Chat of the Austyn Ryli internet. 🎀

🏈 SURVIVING FOOTBALL SEASON…

Okay. This is the part where I need a moment. 😭

We are officially DEEP in football season, which means my schedule is basically:

Football → Content → Editing → Planning → Repeat.

But honestly, I’m having so much fun with it. There’s something about Friday night football, getting ready for games, creating football content and then coming home and editing everything, then falling asleep at 4 AM that just feels like a whole little season of life.

AND my family is coming next week for the games, which I’m really excited about!! So expect even more football + family chaos content soon. 😂

🎀 FALL CONTENT IS HERE

Fall content is officially happening, and I’m doing something a little different this year.

I’m starting a new Fall Brand Spotlight series across ALL of my platforms — blog, Instagram, TikTok AND YouTube.

I’ll be getting pieces from different brands’ fall collections, styling them, photographing them, reviewing them and basically figuring out:

Is this actually worth adding to your fall wardrobe?!

I want this series to be super helpful but still very fashion-editorial and Pinterest-y.

And I also want to start making style guides with different themes + aesthetics — so not just “here are the pieces,” but more like “here’s how to style this if you want this specific vibe.”

👻 OKAY BUT… HALLOWEEN?

I have a little idea and I need to know if you guys would actually want to see it.

Making Halloween costumes out of everyday pieces…

Basically taking things you might already have in your closet and turning them into cute Halloween costumes instead of buying an entirely new costume. I feel like this could be SO cute if I do it right… But I need to know if you guys are interested 👀

So… would you want to see this?!

💗 SIDELINE SOCIETY UPDATE

Behind the scenes, I’m currently working on finding manufacturers for Sideline Society!!

We’ve been narrowing down sketches and getting much closer to figuring out exactly what we want the pieces to look like, so now it’s time to start figuring out how we’re actually going to bring them to life.

There’s obviously still a LOT to do before anything is officially ready, but it’s exciting seeing everything slowly go from random sketches and ideas → actual pieces.

📸 A QUESTION FOR CREATE ACCESS PASS

For everyone with access to my Create Access Pass, I have another idea for you guys…

Would you want Brand Spotlight photo sets?! Basically, when I do one of my Brand Spotlight shoots, you’d get access to more photos from the shoot than what I post publicly.

Think: extra outfit photos and more of the looks from the shoot.

I think it could be such a fun little extra for subscribers, BUT I want to know if you guys would actually want it before I start doing it!!

There are definitely a LOT of changes happening right now, but I’m really excited about this next era of content.
