An honest edit from someone who may spend a little too much time at the Mall at Millenia.
There are stores you visit when you need something. And then there are stores you visit just to “look around,” fully knowing you are probably leaving with a shopping bag. For me, Aritzia is very much the second one.
I have accumulated more Aritzia pieces than my bank account would probably like to acknowledge, and at this point, walking into the Mall at Millenia location feels less like shopping and more like visiting an old friend who happens to have really good clothes. But after owning — and actually wearing — so many pieces from the brand, I’ve started to figure out which ones are genuinely worth the investment.
Because let’s be honest: Aritzia is not cheap.
Especially if you’re a teenager, spending $50, $80, or $100+ on one piece can feel like a lot. And while I love a good trend, I’m not interested in spending that kind of money on something I’ll be bored with by next season.
The pieces that keep winning me over are the ones that do the opposite: they make getting dressed easier. They’re simple, but never boring. Trend-aware, but not completely trend-dependent. And most importantly, they’re pieces I can actually wear again and again.

01 — The Tube Tops
If I had to choose one Aritzia piece to start with, it would be the tube top. I currently own it in navy and cream, and I already know more colors are going to be making their way into my closet soon.
It’s the kind of top that looks almost too simple on the hanger. Then you put it on and suddenly an entire outfit comes together.
With tailored shorts? Chic.
With a skort? Effortlessly cool.
With wide-leg pants? Suddenly you look like you have somewhere important to be.
And that is exactly why I love it. Aritzia has mastered that basic-but-better category. The tube top doesn’t need a giant logo, complicated detailing, or ten different design elements to make it interesting. The silhouette does the work. It also fits my wardrobe particularly well because I tend to live somewhere between sporty, elevated, and slightly 2000s-chic. A good tube top can move between most of those without feeling out of place.
My verdict: 10/10. One of my most-worn Aritzia purchases.
02 — The Skorts
If the tube tops are my number one, the skorts are a very close second. And yes, I mean all the skorts.
There is something about a skort that makes an outfit instantly feel more styled than a pair of regular shorts — while still giving you the practicality of shorts underneath. That combination is exactly why I keep coming back to them. They’re easy to dress up, easy to dress down, and somehow manage to work with almost every top in my closet — A fitted tee and sneakers makes it casual. A tube top and sandals makes it feel more polished. Throw on a jacket, and suddenly it works for a completely different setting.
The best part is that they don’t require much styling. And as someone who loves fashion but also occasionally has approximately three minutes to get dressed, I appreciate that.

03 — The Effortless Pants
I have a soft spot for a good pair of relaxed pants. The wide-leg, slightly undone silhouette has become one of those pieces that can make an outfit feel fashion-forward without looking like you tried too hard.
That’s a huge part of what I appreciate about Aritzia: the clothes often feel intentional without feeling overly styled. Take a simple white or cream pair of wide-leg pants. Add a fitted top, sneakers, and sunglasses, and you’re done. Or swap the sneakers for something a little dressier, and suddenly the same pants feel completely different.
They’re also a great example of why I don’t mind spending more on certain Aritzia pieces. I’m not buying them because they’re expensive. I’m buying them because I can already picture myself wearing them twenty different ways. And cost-per-wear will always matter more to me than the original price tag.
04 — The Little Basics
This is probably the least exciting category to talk about — but maybe the most important. Aritzia does basics really, really well.
Think fitted tees, simple tanks, neutral tops and pieces that don’t necessarily scream “Aritzia” but somehow make an outfit look more put together. Those are the purchases I find myself appreciating months later. Because trends come and go. Your closet still needs clothes to go with them.
A really good basic can be worn underneath a jacket, tucked into a skirt, paired with denim, layered over another top, or styled completely differently six months later. That’s the kind of versatility I look for when I’m spending more money on clothes.
05 — The Pieces That Make a Closet Feel More Expensive
Here’s a certain Aritzia effect that is hard to explain. Sometimes it’s just a plain top. A plain pair of pants. A simple skort. Nothing particularly revolutionary. But the proportions, fabric, fit, and styling potential make the entire outfit feel a little more elevated. That’s really what keeps me coming back. I don’t necessarily want my clothes to announce how much they cost. I want them to look good, feel good, and work hard in my closet. And Aritzia tends to understand that.
The Size Range Is a Big Deal for Me — Another reason Aritzia has become such a staple in my closet is the sizing. I’m typically in the XXS–XS / 00–0 range, so finding pieces that are available in smaller sizes and actually fit the way I want them to can make a huge difference. A piece can be gorgeous on the rack, but if the proportions don’t work for you, it’s not worth the money. That’s something I think is especially important to consider when shopping somewhere with Aritzia’s price point. If this is more of a splurge purchase, then don’t be like me — Try it on. Move around in it. Think about what you already own. Don’t buy something just because everyone online loves it. Ask yourself whether you’ll still want it when the initial excitement wears off.
Because “it’s trending” is not the same thing as “it’s worth it.” So… Is Aritzia Actually Worth It? Here’s my completely honest answer: Sometimes. I don’t think every single piece at Aritzia is automatically worth the price. And I definitely don’t think teenagers need to feel like they have to shop there to have a good wardrobe. But when I find a piece that fits well, feels well-made, works with the rest of my closet, and survives more than one season of trends? I’m willing to spend more. And personally, I have never regretted an Aritzia purchase I’ve made.
That’s probably why I keep going back… And why my bank account would really prefer that I stop walking into the Mall at Millenia store “just to look.”
