Last night’s Dancing with the Stars premiere was everything we hoped for—sparkle, drama, and some seriously iconic fashion moments. In addition, from surprising standouts to some “maybe next week will be better” performances, the first night gave us plenty to talk about. Therefore, let’s break it all down!

🌟 The Great Performances

Whitney Leavitt & Mark – Score: 15/20

I’m so glad Mark is back—his energy is unmatched! Additionally, Whitney was fantastic, and that gold skirt? Moreover, it was absolutely stunning. Overall, there are no complaints here, just pure fun and talent.

Alix Earle & Val – Score: 13/20

This routine had everything: production, choreography, stage presence, and a killer outfit. It wasn’t quite as sharp as Whitney & Mark, but still such a strong debut.

Danielle Fishel & Pasha – Score: 12/20

Perfect song choice and a performance that felt strong without being too stiff. The choreography could’ve been elevated, but her outfit? One of the best of the night.

Lauren Jauregui & Brandon – Score: 13/20

Talk about a pleasant surprise! These two are such a good duo, and I can’t wait to see them tackle different styles. The purple outfits were gorgeous.

Robert Irwin & Whitney – Score: 15/20

The best dance of the night, hands down. Moreover, the choreography was amazing, and surprisingly, Robert didn’t look stiff at all (which honestly shocked me). Furthermore, the song was perfect. Additionally, his outfit was also one of the best of the night. Overall, it was my personal favorite performance!

👍 The Good

Dylan Efron & Dani – Score: 10/20

This was super entertaining with fun choreography, but Dani definitely carried. Cute outfit, but a little safe.

Cory Feldman & Jenna – Score: 9/20

Cory brought personality and I can see him improving as the weeks go on. The choreography was fantastic, but the outfits were just okay.

😐 The Medium

Jordan Chiles & Ezra – Score: 10/20

A decent start, but it felt a little blocky. Her red, white, and blue outfit was the highlight.

Elaine Hendrix & Alan – Score: 12/20

A little stiff with choreography that didn’t wow me, but definitely room for growth. The outfit wasn’t very memorable.

Scott Hoying & Rylee – Score: 10/20

This tango felt off—like Rylee was leading the whole thing. Scott seemed stiff, but the costumes were solid.

👎 The Struggles

Baron Davis & Britt – Score: 10/20

This one just didn’t work. Choppy, unbalanced, and Britt had to do way too much of the heavy lifting. The outfit didn’t help—too basic.

Jen Affleck & Jan Ravnik – Score: 12/20

This was messy. The choreography was bad, Jan did most of the work, and it felt average overall. The outfits were great, though!

Andy Richter & Emma – Score: 9/20

Funny? Yes. Good dancing? Not at all. Poor Emma—she deserves a stronger partner. The outfits didn’t save this one.

Hilaria Baldwin & Gleb – Score: 14/20

The choreography was there, but she seemed lost and made multiple mistakes. The outfits were solid, but I wasn’t into her hair styling.
