A content day, the prettiest streets, and a white Moke, I’m already planning to rent again.
If you haven’t added a Moke rental to your Winter Park itinerary yet, consider this your sign. I recently spent the day cruising around with my mom on a content day, and it honestly turned into one of my favorite Florida experiences — the kind where you’re smiling the whole time and already talking about when you’re coming back before you even return the keys.

THE ALFOND INN — A WHOLE VIBE ON ITS OWN

The Alfond Inn in Winter Park is one of those places that just looks like a photo. Boutique, elevated, and right in the heart of everything — it’s the perfect home base for a day like this. Even if you’ve never been, you probably already know the area: the Vias, Park Avenue, the beautiful tree-lined cobblestone streets. It all radiates this effortless, old-Florida charm that I never get tired of. The rental is run through a 3rd party called Elevated Auto but you mostly deal with the hotel’s valet team, and I have to give them the biggest shoutout — they are genuinely some of the nicest people. Super welcoming, made the whole pickup process so smooth and fun. And here’s a little insider tip that made my day: they actually offer deals to content creators! They even mentioned that if I ever need to pick one up early or drop it off a little late, they’re flexible. That kind of personal touch just means everything
HELLO, SHE’S A BEAUTY 🤍
Our Moke was white (honestly, the only right answer), and the second I saw it, I was already planning the entire shoot in my head. The wood steering wheel, the ribbed white seats, the open-air frame — it’s such a cool little car. Retro but clean. Dorky but make it fashion.

There’s something about being behind the wheel of a Moke with no doors, no roof, just open sky and Florida breeze — it’s such a feeling. You have to experience it to get it.
CRUISING THE VIAS + LAKE KNOWLES
We spent the day weaving through the Vias and drove down Via Capri toward Lake Knowles, which was absolutely stunning. The Spanish moss hanging over the brick streets, the gorgeous Mediterranean-style homes, the open water in the background — it felt like a movie. If you know Winter Park, you know the Vias are already beautiful, but seeing them from a Moke? Completely different experience.

My one regret of the entire day: not stopping at the Starbucks on Park Ave for an Energy Refresher to sip while we cruised. That is 100% happening on the next rental. Learn from me.
WHAT I WORE
I was shooting my Peppermayo denim dress for a brand collab throughout the day, and honestly, the streets of Winter Park made for the perfect backdrop. The cobblestones, the greenery, the bright blue Florida sky — everything just worked together. It’s a mini button-down denim dress with the cutest gold hardware details, and I am obsessed. Paired it with white espadrille wedges and oversized sunnies and felt very European summer, but make it Florida.

WOULD I DO IT AGAIN?
Already planning it — no hesitation. This is the kind of day that’s perfect for a girls’ day, a date, a solo content shoot, literally anything. Winter Park was made for a Moke, and a Moke was made for Winter Park. If you’re local or visiting, do yourself a favor and book it.
